Terms of Service

1. Appointment Booking
- Cancellation Policy: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance via website or phone
- No-Show Policy: Repeated no-shows may impact future booking availability
- Rescheduling: Reschedule online or call your assigned barber's location
- Late Arrivals: If more than 15 minutes late, appointment may be forfeited
2. Walk-In Queue System
- Virtual queue: Check in online or in-person
- Queue position is not guaranteed and may change based on service complexity
- Barber assignment is automatic via fair rotation algorithm
- You must arrive within 10 minutes when called (SMS notification sent)
- Failure to respond within 3 minutes moves you to back of queue
- Queue may be paused or closed at shop's discretion (capacity limits, emergencies)
3. SMS Marketing Program
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from MT Barbershop.
- Program Description: Appointment reminders, queue position updates, promotional offers, and service updates
- Message Frequency: Varies; approximately 2-4 messages per month (reminders more frequent if you book often)
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately
- Help: Reply HELP for assistance
- Message/Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan
- Supported Carriers: All major US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)
We do not charge for SMS, but your carrier's standard rates apply.
4. Payment Terms
- Accepted Methods: Cash, credit/debit card (via Stripe), SMS payment link
- Payment Processing: Card payments are PCI-compliant via Stripe
- Pricing: Service prices displayed on website; subject to change with notice
- Tips: Optional; 100% goes to your barber
- Refunds: Service quality issues addressed case-by-case; contact us within 24 hours
5. Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraudulent activity or policy violations
6. Service Availability
- Business hours subject to change; check website or call for current hours
- Holiday closures announced via website and SMS
- Emergency closures (weather, power outage): SMS notification sent to active appointments
- We reserve the right to refuse service for health/safety reasons
7. Limitation of Liability
Services are provided "as is." MT Barbershop is not liable for:
- Appointment scheduling conflicts due to system errors
- SMS delivery delays (carrier-dependent)
- Queue wait time estimates (subject to change)
- Product availability (e-commerce items)
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes will be resolved in Delaware courts.
9. Updates to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email or SMS. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
